The Publishing Training Centre

The Publishing Training Centre (PTC) has been established for 30 years and is the recognised training provider for the book and journal publishing sector. An educational charity, it runs over 70 short courses, covering the complete range of publishing skills. Short courses include editorial, software, rights, digital publishing and much more. Most of the courses can also be run as an In-Company training event. The PTC offers the following distance learning courses to publishers and editorial freelancers: > Basic Proofreading > Copy-Editing > Successful Editorial Freelancing > Picture Research > Editorial Project Management. We are based at Book House in Wandsworth (London), and are always happy to hear from you about any course ideas you might have, and we are also keen to hear from potential tutors.
