The hotel is owned by Terri Flett who is a dancer herself and is a member of the IDTA and the ISTD both in Ballroom and Latin. Our hosts and teachers provide world-class teaching and entertainment. Our innovative teachers will demonstrate steps to you during your holiday and work together with you to make sure you are progressing during your stay. They teach pupils ranging from new dancers to the very advanced. If you are enthusiastic about your dancing or here for a more relaxed & leisurely break you will be able to do so at the Hotel Piccadilly. All mid-week holidays that are 5 nights arriving on a Sunday will include a Bubbly Reception that will be held in our beautifully decorated Art Deco lounge. After arrival you will be able to enjoy meeting your hosts so and of course meet the fellow dancers that are on the holiday, this will be a good chance to make new friends Each Dancing holiday will include Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Our newly refurbished elegant restaurant which offers a superb choice of cuisine from our daily menu which is prepared using fresh locally sourced produce of the highest quality and is highly recommended. Our executive head chef Peter Roberts is a master of his trade, you’ll be able to indulge in the delicious food that is cooked by him and the rest of the team. Certain weekend breaks include a Traditional Sunday Lunch on the day of your departure. To ensure no cooking when you get home! Some of our holidays include a Gala Banquet which is usually held in the Ballroom or the Restaurant. The Banquet is a 5 course extravagant meal and black tie is invited. Sometimes there might be a theme which will be stated. Some Breaks do not include any tuition these holidays are more relaxed, which means you can have the whole day to explore and the whole evening to dance if you want too. If you have chosen a holiday with tuition you will get a chance to have your teachers expertise, time and attention that you will require to improve or perfect your dancing skills, there is a Coffee Break which is again included in the package. During each evening of your stay there will be dancing in the Ballroom where you can practice your new steps and add them to your existing dancing moves! Mid-week holidays will also include a Thursday Afternoon Tea Dance. All tea dances include tea & coffee and our delicious home-made shortbread biscuits. You also have the choice to treat yourself or your partner to an Upgraded or Superior Bedroom to guarantee a luxurious and relaxing environment.
