The Sahara Sanctuary Project

The Sahara Sanctuary Project are a small friendly organisation running a supported living house that endeavours to serve Vulnerable Adults of Asian Descent by Providing; Short term and Long term accommodation with Supported Living Care Plan and Monitoring Respite and Weekend Break care Tailor made Additional Support packages We can assist any member of the Asian community, male or female as long as they are over the age of 16, with a mild to moderate specific need such as; Learning difficulty Autism Mental Illness only as a dual disorder Any Vulnerability that requires specialist support such as being in danger of Homelessness or isolation. We offer Three packages and these have been devised to meet the needs of all Service users who require specialist services taking into account their earnings, needs and duration of Service. We are able to tailor make a package to suit service user requirements fully. The Sahara Sanctuary Project was formed by Nimira Jivan and Jay Jivan, Siblings who wished to do something different and innovative for the members of the Asian community and the world of Housing and Social Care management. Nimira and Jay strongly promote Positive thinking, Empowerment, togetherness yet independence in the Sahara house. They strive to create a comfortable house environment which enhances the individuals mental health and not hinders it in any way.
