The Bear Colony has been developed by young entrepreneur, Ellen Moyse. Aged just 16, Ellen launched the business in September 2009 after researching a number of product ideas to sell online. Ellen says, "I saw that there was an opportunity to sell a product online that people would want all year round, and in particular for special occasions suchs as Christmas, birthdays, christenings, weddings or just to say I thank you or I love you. I have chosen what I believe are lovely bears so that when people receive them they will be absolutely delighted. We have a professional embroiderer working with us to ensure a high quality finish. Our adorable bears are specially chosen for their soft fur, cuteness & cuddleability! They are quality bears that will last, from the leading manufacturer, Mumbles."
