Technician Tax Back
Colchester, Essex, CO7 7EN
A welcome change? Can I help you claim a significant tax refund from the tax man? Through my accountancy practice, Howlett’s Chartered Accountants, I have recently launched a new service called “Technician Tax Back”. I discovered recently that there is a tax break for employed motor technicians / mechanics whereby they are entitled to claim tax relief on the tools that they purchase for their work. Most employers provide equipment / tools to their employees for use within their work but, in the motor trade, it is the industry norm that technicians own their own tool kits which can be worth £1,000''s. This tax break is something that is, unsurprisingly, not particularly advertised by the tax man and does mean that many technicians are due significant tax rebates. In current times, I believe that this is an extremely valuable and welcome service for people to have a chance to claim something back for a change (which they are 100% entitled to)! All the technicians need to do is complete a simple claim pack which can be emailed or sent to them and then I can do the rest. Recent refunds received have been as high as £900 with the average around £500.
