Teylu LED is a Ltd and VAT registered company who specialise in energy saving lighting solutions for the retail, industrial and hospitality sector in and around the UK. We focus on ‘retrofit replacements'' for halogen and fluorescent lighting with LED units, so in most cases there will be little or no need to modify any wiring or fixtures. Lamp fitting types include: GU5.3 (often referred to as MR16), GU10, BC22 (Standard Bayonet), BC14 (Small Bayonet), ES14 (Small Screw), ES27 (Large Screw), 2G11, G9 and T8 (fluorescent tube) in 2, 4, 5 & 6’ lengths as well as many other more obscure types. Teylu LED’s goal is to provide an easy ‘one stop shop’ to guide clients through the ‘minefield’ of LED lighting products. We will survey the existing lighting on site, then specify the types of LED lamps & provide a quotation as a package showing ROI (return of investment) and comprehensive data showing the energy and cost savings that can be achieved by using LED lighting. Lighting is one of the easiest and most cost effective areas where large energy savings can be made and the quality of light greatly improved by simply replacing Halogen and fluorescent bulbs with LED units. The cost of electricity for lighting is an unnecessary major overhead for every business that can easily be reduced by over 90%. LED lighting has come on along way in the last few years to the extent that it has become more than an ideal substitute for halogen bulbs and in most cases uses less than one twelfth of the power. The energy savings alone will quickly cover the initial cost of the LED units, with the added benefit of lasting up to 50,000 hours (17 years based on 9hrs per day 6 days a week) and halogen at around 2000 hours (9 months).
