With over 25yrs years experience in the Performing Arts industry, Roydon Academy provides a well rounded training to individuals throughout the local area. Set-up in 2000, in Cyprus, the Academy now is based in Leigh-on-sea. The academy provides individuals with a professional training and has a well equipped studio. The expert staff allow students to grow in confidence and ability. The school is intended to meet regulations every time. The business is managed by Trudy Deakin (Miller) who has been involved in the Performing Arts business for many years. Having previously worked for ITV, BBC, Anglia TV, CYBC, RIK, Theatre and Film. Her Performing Arts Academy in Cyprus, represented the Island in a ''International Festival'' for Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Returning with five top awards, including 1st place in the ''Adult Variety'' with Japan. Trudy is more than qualified to run the academy. The school offers classes in ISTD and IDTA Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre (Trinity Guildhall). Classes start from 2yrs with pre school ballet, to classes for adults. The school develops individual talent within a safe happy environment, that produce well trained performers. Students are encouraged to gain professional work within the industry.
