Computer Disposals What SCL will do SCL will arrange a pre booked time and date before collection or your disposals. 1 Driver and a driver’s mate will arrive on your site on time with relevant identification, tools and documentation required for the collection of your disposals. SCL employees will scan the serial numbers and/or company asset tags of all I.T equipment that is being disposed of. On completion a signature will be required to confirm that your I.T equipment has left your site with SCL to ensure responsibility of your equipment is in SCL’s hand. On arrival on SCL site all equipment will be checked in and we will confirm with you by email or fax that the equipment has arrived. Disposal of Hard Drives\Data All data will be removed (degaussed\incinerated) off all data storage devices and a confirmation (certificate with all data storage devices asset details) will be sent to you within 48hr. All Other Equipment All equipment if possible will be salvaged and resold. All equipment that can not be salvaged will recycling. Asset Tracking All equipment will be asset tracked from collection to distribution
