Nugent Education Ltd provides a range of creative, performing and urban arts workshops. We deliver to primary schools, special schools, secondary and grammar schools and Colleges.
We work with schools and special schools in the following areas:
1. Creative, urban, cultural and performing arts and arts week activities
2. Curriculum enhancement workshops for (all key Stages) arts, English, Literacy and numeracy and artists for school arts weeks.
3. Revision for exams (creatively like using rapping to revise) or decorating schools corridors with mural art.
School Workshops on offer include:
• Japanese origami
• Mural painting
• African drumming
• Graffiti art (with paints, not spray but can demonstrate spraying in cordoned off, airy space or outside)
• rapping (surprisingly popular)
• Break dance (boys love)
• Street dance (usually more for girls)
• Human Beat boxing (popular and draws a crowd)
• Crafts: Jewellery making
• Crafts: card making
• Crafts mask making
• DJ skills
• drama
• Crafts other
• Makeup & beauty for girls
• Lantern making (extremely popular craft)
• Kite making crafts
• Music production (takes 4 to 6 x 50 minute sessions to complete but can drop in daily
• School corridor mural decoration (school inspectors love these)
CRB checked, liability insured and experienced & talented artists travel to, and deliver workshops at your venue.
