Alloy Weldcraft specialise in repairing very badly damaged alloy wheels, cracked, buckled, bent, chipped or ripped. Fully Equipped Workshop and Mobile unit with highest specification TIG welding equipment Repair severely cracked, broken and bent alloy wheels Repair broken engine and gearbox casings. As the director of Alloy Weldcraft, my experience working with aluminum goes all the way back to 1979 when I started my apprenticeship with Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd at the factory in Newport Pagnell, where I was trained by some of the most skilled craftsmen in the world. Together with technical college training to form the body work in the traditional way of being truly handmade and not just hand finished. Furthering this over the years, having setup my own business in the restoration of all things aluminum have involved me in welding and fabricating aircraft cowlings for historic aeroplanes, gearbox housings, engine casings and components and all manner of historic and racing car body work and components. And of course some very special alloy wheels. Having been approached in 1999 by a leading wheel refurbishment company to carry out some metalwork repairs for them, this side of our business has grown and we now receive alloy wheel repair work from far and wide.
