The Trading Post is a family run business which operates out of an old chapel on Wakefield Road in Featherstone near Pontefract in West Yorkshire. Our stock is large and varied, including many hundreds of items of furniture, (from the modern to the antique), pictures, mirrors, pottery and porcelain, metalware, collectables, books, old luggage, baskets, tin baths, old doors and many more interesting and decorative items, with new stock arriving on a daily basis. Much of our furniture is in it’s original finish, some suitable for restoration, we also have hand stripped and waxed pieces, painted items and furniture by well known makers such as Ercol, Priory, Jay Cee, Bevan and Funnel (Reprodux), Old Charm etc.
