When Monica Demetriou and Tracey Beesley met just a year ago, a true friendship blossomed in the leafy avenues of Highcliffe Village, Dorset. Both have a passion for retail and the high street. A perfect way to bring community and lifestyle together – hence The Lifestyle Concept was born. The shop will house selected items from a variety of niche brands - brands like Bain du Nuit - the designer Chantal Temam is behind this brand and has clothed lovelies like Eva Longoria amongst others. She has created a beautiful line of Kaftans, which will be in the store from December; perfect for that Christmas holiday get-away. Also available will be carefully chosen jewellery pieces from Neola Designs and CinderelaB, art from FabFunky; cushions from We Love Cushions, interiors from the high end supplier Libra and the most gorgeous umbrellas for our British weather from Raindance. There is something for everyone and once again there will be a place to shop and browse on a Saturday afternoon. After all, where else is a girl to shop? And we all know that after a lunch at one of the eateries in Highcliffe it’s always nice to have a shop where your husband has already phoned ahead to inform the staff that “his wife can buy anything she wants”! This shop will be amongst new businesses coming to the area – stylish, on-trend and putting the people of Highcliffe first; building a community for all to enjoy. The shop is part of a bigger picture – to kick start the village into it becoming one of the most picturesque and loved coastal villages in Dorset. With a momentum building, having seen a success with the food festival, Monica and Tracey feel now is the time to bite the bullet and bring this unique shop to the area. This is more than just about a shop – it is about bringing something new to the High Street of Highcliffe. Uniqueness is key. Lifestyle is the idea.
