Set to become Bodmin's new social hub, Cafe Fusion is housed within the new Piazza complex, in Crockwell Street. Bright, fresh and exciting, this is the place to break from shopping for a drink or for lunch. Expect eclectic world music, Tapas, cuisine from around the globe, great coffee, homemade patisserie, light snacks, cheery staff and a large al-fresco area with plenty of space for 20 and with heaters, parasols and plants. Clean lines, vibrant marine colours, smart contemporary furniture featuring soft rattan chairs and light wood tables and exotic flowers at every turn. Bold art is provided by Vanessa – one of the owners -- and the sea themes of her work add to the impact of the interior. The bright and airy space has a great atmosphere with a buzz of lunchtime diners tucking into pastas, salads and gourmet sandwiches. The menu's have been created by Vanessa Richardson(Owner & Executive Chef), who has been involved in the food industry most of her life. She has designed it in a way that suits all tastes, drawing on her South - African heritage which has influenced the menu. Head Chef Neal Mackie, who has also added some fantastic additions to the menu, really comes into his own in the evenings, drawing on his prior experience working in AA rosette kitchens around the country. The mood changes with atmospheric dining from bistro menus featuring the best of local produce, world beers and great wines. Peter Richardson (Owner & Manager), who has had many years of performing in South - Africa, entertains guests every Wednesday evening with the Classical Guitar, setting the perfect ambiance in this fine dining establishment. Regular themed gourmet nights are also a big attraction, featuring cuisine & music from across the globe.
