DG play is a newly formed project to enable play providers and partners to work together to support the development of quality play and free play provision for children and young people aged 5-13 years in Dumfries and Galloway This will be achieved by setting up a Play Forum to support voluntary organisations and partners to promote good practice and deliver new or more "Free Play" opportunities across the play sector. We aimn to 1. Work with DG play members to support the development of new and existing play services 2. Liaise with appropriate partners and statutory agencies to promote free play. 3. Arrange and facilitate DG Play Forum Meetings 4. develop good practice guides and raise the profile of the play sector in Dumfries and Galloway.
