IWCT have been actively involved in abolishing the dog meat trade since 1998. We have investigators on the ground to find out about any illegal activity in the Philippines. A vital part of our future work is to control the dog population in the Philippines and improve the welfare of those dogs and the spread of disease, most importantly Rabies. We offer free vaccinations to dogs and cats, as well as free spay and neutering. We do this at our main treatment centre as well as our mobile clinics. Our education programme is popular with adults and children alike, we education on sensible pet ownership is a crucial factor in controlling the pet population, reducing the suffering and number of unwanted pets. At IWCT, we support fellow charities from time to time, our motto is to fight cruelty and work to protect all animals.

One donated computer will provide training facilities for up to 20 individuals. Each ICT trained person is able to move into employment with a wage up to three times the national average. This would provide enough income to pull an entire family out of poverty. Computers 4 Africa refurbishes, data wipes computers and then sends them off to projects; schools, libraries, medical facilities, in Africa. We work together with businesses, schools and councils to find practical, ethical and environmentally friendly ways to sort their redundant IT kit.
