Why is buying gifts for your parents so difficult?
Whenever I’m looking for a gift for my Mum and Dad I rack my brains, get in a huff and ask myself why on earth it’s so difficult to buy for the two people who know me best in the world and who I’ve known all my life! I guess it’s a case of the commonly used phrase ‘what to buy someone who’s got everything they need already’…
But, this year I think I’ve made a mini breakthrough finding a gift experience website which actually sells activity gift tokens. These tokens are of a monetary value and can be redeemed against any activity shown on the website – and a there’s a whole load of them to choose from, so whether Mum wants a spa day or Dad prefers to go trundling off round the countryside in a Abbott tank the choice is theirs!
From reading the small print it looks like these gift idea vouchers are actually valid for a full year, which means the folks have plenty of time to ponder, cogitate and decide which activity gift they’d like to do. Then, all they have to do is get the activity gift token transformed into the activity of their choice and away they go. Easy.
