Tonights Inspiration – Hardys Crest 2007 Cabernet Shiraz Merlot
You can blame tonights waffling and ramblings on a bottle of South Australian 2007 red wine HARDYs Crest Cabernet Shiraz Merlot.
I only really bought it because it was half price on special offer and because I wanted a red wine for a coq au Vin I was cooking on Monday night.
As soon as I opened it though I was pleasantly surprised, one of the nicest wines I’ve had for a long time, I didn’t use as much as I usually would in the coq au vin, instead I decided to save it for drinking.
I was out last night so didn’t have any, but got back to it tonight and are just on the last glass now, another half hour and my waffling will get worse.
